I am a PhD Candidate at the Harvard University Graduate School of Education (HGSE). My research is focused on how we are affected by things unawares, and what we can do about it.
This includes questions like:
- What is the difference between education and indoctrination?
- Does reflecting on our beliefs help understand how we are affected by things unconsciously? What are the affordances and limitations of reflection?
- What is the relationship between the causal history of a belief or attitude and its justification?
- What can we do about how we are affected by things unawares? What kind of education can orient us towards these features? What does this achieve?
- What role does psychology have in understanding these questions? What are the limits of psychological approaches?
